Update Status: This is the most active and "lead" case of the cluster. After U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel cleared the consumer protection claims to move forward into discovery, P&G attempted to slow it down by moving to transfer the venue out of California. However, on December 11, 2025, the court denied P&Gโs motion to transfer. Since then, active document filings and discovery exchanges have been continuously logged on the federal docket, with the most recent entries recorded on June 16, 2026

New Prop 65 notices allege reproductive toxicity from lead and cadmium in menstrual products
Active as of April 2026. California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act notices allege that specified Tampax products expose consumers to lead and cadmium at levels above Prop 65 thresholds.
